カニバリズムや反モラル的ラストなど、当時のタブーに挑戦した内容は、後のホラームーヴィーに多大な影響を及ぼし、現在ではニューヨーク近代美術館にも所蔵されるカルト・クラシックにしてゾンビ映画の記念碑的作品です!
